WORLD BANK INFORMAL SETTLEMENTS SURVEY PRE-TESTED

The pre-test for the "Survey Research on Housing and Livelihoods in Metro Manila" was held in May 2015 in Sitio Dulong Tangke, Barangay Malinta in Valenzuela City. Thirty respondents were surveyed by the pre-test team, which included project consultants from the World Bank. The survey, which will start in July 2015, aims to generate a profile of the socio-economic conditions of urban poor informal settlers in Metro Manila, for the assessment of the impact of resettlement and slum upgrading activities in livelihood activities of affected families. About 2,700 informal settler households from multiple cities in Metro Manila will be covered by the survey.
