OIDCI celebrates 24 years in development consulting
Gives
Recognition to OIDCI’s Pillars of Success
OIDCI experienced a different high when
it celebrated its 24th year in
meaningful development consulting last
August 1. A dinner program dubbed,
“Recognition of OIDCI’s Pillar of Success,”
kicked off the company’s year-long
activities leading to its silver jubilee in
August 2008.
At the center of
this year’s celebration is a recognition of
OIDCI’s pillars of success—its consultants,
staff, partner firms, and partner agencies
that have in one way or another contributed
to the success of the company. Special
citations were given to selected
consultants, partners and staff who have not
only contributed to the growth of the
company but have also shown professionalism
and contributed strategies and technologies
for the successful management, completion
and sustainability of projects.
During the
program, the company’s officers and staff
also reminisced on the company’s challenges
and triumphs—starting from its humble
beginnings in 1983 when a handful of
professionals from government and the
academe banded together to fulfill a common
commitment to “share knowledge for human
development”. Now a leading consulting firm
in development planning and management,
OIDCI has indeed grown. A number of won
projects that constitute the mainstream of
government priority programs and policies
have made the company a potent agent of
development. As a future direction, OIDCI
envisions Total Quality Management and
Strengthened Partnerships towards new
opportunities in the local and international
markets.
The anniversary
celebration had former Prime Minister Cesar
E.A. Virata as Guest of Honor. Mr. Virata
has been a mentor, partner and dear friend
to OIDCI since its early years. |
