REBUILDING CENTRAL PHILIPPINES - The twin calamities of typhoon "Yolanda" and the 7.2-magnitude earthquake in Bohol this year has wreaked havoc in the lives and livelihood of our brothers in the Central Visayas. The scale and magnitude of the losses make the task of relief daunting. We recognize that the most immediate need is to assist the most vulnerable groups, and the larger, long-term effort will be in rebuilding the communities that have been lost. OIDCI, its management and staff, through various efforts are supporting frontline relief organizations. There is more to be done; the challenges are great and every contribution to your favored charities no matter how small is important. We are confident that our partners and friends in the industry are also doing their share and we join them in this effort ... let's all help rebuild Central Philippines - Percy Sajise / Chairman (Nov. 18, 2013)
